🎉HAPPY 12th BIRTHDAY, to the one in red🎉 ~~~~~~~~~~ When I was 21 or 22 I decided that giving gifts of experiences, art, or something similar was far more lasting and significant that another doll or temporary fad toy. Saturday afternoon, I got to take two of my younger cousins (and my mom and aunt) to see the closing show of Emma at the @americanshakespearecenter’s Blackfriars Theatre (the only replica of The Globe in the world). It was wonderful, and I loved getting to share a place dear to my own life experiences with a younger generation❤️ . I love this theatre for many reasons, but it began in high school when I went on class field trips to see Shakespeare plays. Now, I get to share it with so many others!
